Finance Specialist (12 month contract)

An exiting opportunity to work within the realm of the Corporate Project Finance team which manages over £1.3 Billion senior debt, 15+ lenders and hedging banks with various hedging financial instruments. The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with senior individuals both internally and externally.This role will provide exposure to structed finance, accounting, reporting requirements and a range of ad hoc tasks which can come from Lenders, Shareholder, Senior managements etc. Fantastic insight to how a windfarm is managed and financed.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESHelp maintain multiple spreadsheets managing Loan Book, Hedges, and accounting requirements.Support the Company with planned debt raising activities.Heavy involvement with cashflow management and modelling support.Assisting with payment runs, reconciliations and working closing with wider OW team.Interactive with stakeholder to address questions and investigate differences.Assisting with KYC “Know your customer” requests from agents and other Treasury tasks.ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDDegree or qualification in accounting and finance would be beneficial.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSProactive and “can do attitude” is critical for this role.2-3 years’ experience within a finance team.Offshore wind experience is desirable.Organized and efficient with the ability to prioritise.Ability to work in a dynamic environment in a multi-disciplinary team across several specialist areas.A self-starter with a proactive approach with strong attention to detail and strong communication skillsAbility to communicate and build relationships across all levels of the project team.OTHER INFORMATIONPotential for some travel to the O&M base in Fraserburgh and London to meet key agents and banks.This is position is a fixed term contract of 12 months.you have read and acknowledge OW Candidates Privacy Notice:
