To support the payroll process with appropriate checks, accounting system postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
As Payroll Supervisor you will be a key member of the Finance Team, working closely with internal + external stakeholders to support them and keep up good relationships. This position will interface with the business region (EMEA) and report to the Finance Manager. Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure Being part of a positive, supportive culture amongst finance as well as with the rest of the business, is key to the team’s success
Approve payroll with appropriate checks Request payments for payroll and ensure they are processed in a timely manner Post P&L Journals in NAV each month prior to month-end
Reconcile the Balance Sheet monthly and prepare analysis for management
Identify key risks and work with the People team to ensure robust internal controls within the finance payroll function to mitigate those risks Work to standardise and document key processes/compliance + identify areas for improvement + automation
Support on annual and interim audits where required by the External Audit Team Support the whole Finance function for holiday cover when needed
Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience an advantage Great communicator with finance as well as non-finance
Payroll experience needed
Strong Excel skills to pivot tables and lookups.
