You'll have ownership, agility, responsibility and stimulation without any of the worry.About the roleAs the Financial Operations Manager at Bark.com you will be at the heart of our financial operations, leading and being responsible for the core Finance capabilities in the accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, bank, corporate credit cards and GTS/VAT areas globally. You’ll bring a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, lead a team and focus on driving efficiency and process improvements.This will be a varied and challenging role, so we are looking for someone who hasexperience of working in finance for a fast paced, growing business that is trading internationally.As our business goes from strength to strength this opportunity will offer genuine potential to grow with an exciting growth company and be part of a team that is continually developing. We are an innovative, disruptive business, still at a relatively early stage, but with the financial security of an established company and top tier private equity backers.Key ResponsibilitiesOverseeing, managing and ensuring efficient running of all the financial operations (accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, bank and VAT) at Bark.com globallyOptimising processes and systems, integrating new cutting-edge tools where appropriate and iteratively looking for improvements and efficienciesAct as a business partner, providing financial insights to influence strategic decision-makingTreasury management, including optimising the net working capital positionLeading, developing and building out the financial operations team and a direct report of oneLeading on various financial operations projectsRole RequirementsQualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or part-qualified and working towards completion3 or more years experience in finance & accounting (in an accounting firm or small business)Is able to assess and improve processes, implementing new tools where neededExcellent communication in both written and spoken EnglishProven ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing prioritiesConfidence in managing senior stakeholdersExcels at organisation and project management to prioritise workCan work independently and motivate themselvesExperience in Xero is a bonus not a mustPerks and BenefitsShare options in a rapidly growing company whose founders have a proven track record and are Private Equity backedFlexible working policy with a central office in LondonPersonal annual L&D Budgets with £1,000 to spend on your developmentEnhanced Gympass membership for all employees with access to mental health courses and fitness classesFully stocked kitchen and monthlylunchesCycle to work schemeRegular wellness weeks with industry leading talks through to massages in the officeBeing at the forefront of an industry with new and exciting problems to solveDiversity StatementAt Bark, we are a platform for people, revolutionising the way professionals and individuals connect since 2014.
