Situation

Ford & Stanley are recruiting for  a Junior Accounts Assistant for a business who is a recognised leader in development of intelligent connected solutions that solve operational challenges. They innovate, design and build telecoms, network, energy and on-train technology solutions.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as strong communicational skills while chasing PO’s & payments.

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Processing expenses
  • Processing invoices and answering any queries  
  • Chasing POs, payments
  • Liaise with procurement, speak to suppliers to get statements etc.

Location: Scunthorpe.

Salary: Up to £24,000.

Working Practice: Hybrid working 2-3 days in the office, remainder will be WFH.
Contract: 6 months temp to perm opportunity.

Agreed Criteria for candidates to secure interview


  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Experience of invoice processing
  • Good communicator (written and spoken)
  • Don’t need any form of qualification but if they want to do it in the long term there will be the option to progress through AAT.
