With oversight for all aspects of the financial administration of a growing international charity,the ideal candidate will have worked with both Xero and Microsoft Excel in a previous role.Working with staff based primarily in Glasgow, the role involves a range of financial administration responsibilitiesthat will require a degree of independent working and the ability to multi-task. Attention to detail isessential as WIN’s Finance Officer is instrumental to ensuring that WIN meets legal and financial dutiesrequired of the organisation.Main responsibilitiesImporting and reconciling bank transactions in Xero & preparing any and all paperwork for banking andfinancial administration processesReviewing, approving, and arranging payment of employee expensessubmitted through XeroPreparing expense claims and invoices for external organisations, includingliaising with relevant organisations and working with multiple currenciesEnsuring all bills andinvoices due are settled in a timely mannerCommunicating with external payroll providers to ensurepayroll information is accurateArranging payment of employee salaries and PAYE, National Insurance, andpension contributionsUpdating internal accounting information and ensuring records are up todateAssisting in the enrolment of new employees onto payroll and enrolling them in WIN’s pensionschemePreparing annual accounts, including liaising with external auditors and ensuring the accurateinput of financial information throughout the yearAny other financial administration tasks as deemednecessary by the Executive Director and/or WIN’s Board of TrusteesESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCEXeroMicrosoft ExcelPrevious experience of financial administration for a small-mediumorganisation/businessPrevious experience of receipts and payments accountingAttention todetail and process-focusedDESIRABLEPrevious experience of payroll administrationPrevious experience of preparing annual accounts for external auditPrevious experience working in the third sector or for an NGOExperience of accrual accountingApplication notesTo apply, please submit your CV and a one page supporting statement as to why you would be a good fit for us to:#####

They willlead on overall management and development of the projects including managing budgets, seeking out new fundingopportunities and ensuring project outcomes are met. They will be responsible for the line management of staffand supporting a team of volunteers. This is a part time role and the post holder will need to be able to workfrom home with travel across Ayrshire.
