Finance Officer Permanent position £25k per annum Days Monday to Friday - 40 hours per weekPart Qualified or Fully QualifiedRecord day to day financial transactions for accounts receivable / payable Based in Cannock Working as part of a team - opportunities for training or progression Accountancy / Finance background Responsibilities of a Finance Officer * Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.* Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner.* Processing invoices within the group and for sundry requirements.* Perform bank reconciliation on regular basis.* Processing expenses transactions.* Data input and processing of payments on regular basis* Reconciling inter company balances ahead of month end* Assist the Financial Controller with balance sheet reconciliations.* Entering data, maintain records and create reports as required.* Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve queries or obtain further information. Experience of a Finance OfficerYou will be a finance professional, ideally qualified or part qualified or with the relevant broad work experience working in a finance team Experience of Sage, Xero or Epicor Advanced Excel skills Accountancy / Finance background Details of a Finance Officer Days Monday to Friday 40 hours per weekBased in CannockStarting salary in £25k per annum will increase in April Qualifications, training and career development all available If you have the relevant experience for the Finance Officer - please click apply
