Job Description
Three Bridges Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our leading Edinburgh based public sector organisation for a Finance Officer, This role is for a 12-month Fixed Term to join their Finance Department. This role will provide administrative and technical support to senior management ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the accounts payable function. As a Finance Officer - Accounts Payable you will be involved in the following:
Purchase ledger administration
Actively participating in the continual refinement of financial procedures & controls
End to end processing of transactional accounts
Continuous process improvement
Accounts analysis and reporting presented monthly
Analysing and pre-empting creditor allowances and issues
Communicating with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels
You
As Finance Officer - Accounts Payable you will be skilled or qualified in the following:
Experience in the above responsibilities
IT literate in all Microsoft packages and a widely used finance system
Great communication skills
High Attention to detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines and work as a team
Experience with the public sector is desirable
