Finance Officer

Salary: �26,000 - �28,000 (depending on experience) + excellent benefits

Location: Lupton, Near Kirkby Lonsdale

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the Group Finance function by raising invoices, reporting costs, and managing purchase ledger transactions.
  • Ensuring accurate cash receipts are posted on relevant ledgers and conducting credit control on sales ledgers.
  • Assisting in the review of finances for individual homes and schools.
  • Inputting data, preparing management accounts, and working with Excel.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to meet tight deadlines and deliver outstanding results.

What we need from you:

  • Prior experience in a finance team, including data input, management accounts preparation, and Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence.

Desirable skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with Sales & Purchase Ledgers.
  • AAT or equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with Sage X3.
