If you are either ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA or AAT qualified and have experience working within the education or public sectors then read on!
School Finance Officer Job Summary:
~£Term-Time, permanent, full-time
~ School Finance Officer Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
Managing the monthly budgeting and financial reports
Managing and compiling invoices, ensuring all transactions comply with the school's financial policy
Oversee the proper and timely collection of school monies essential to maintaining the school’s dynamic ecosystem, such as school trip fees, exam fees, sponsored events etc.)
Identify and resolve any queries/discrepancies/issues regarding school finance
The ideal School Finance Officer will also be a devoted team player capable of understanding and competently acting upon given instructions. You will be working alongside other finance faculty members and reporting to a finance/business manager and the Headteacher.
