Finance Manager

Protea Recruitment is working with a Fife-based Manufacturer who is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. We are looking for candidates with Manufacturing experience, part or fully qualified to manage a team of 5.

Job Title: Finance Manager

Sector: Manufacturing

Salary: £45k - £50k

Shift: On Site, Monday to Friday

Key Accountabilities

* Manage a team of 5

* Assist with the month-end close and management accounts preparation.

* Assist in ensuring all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled.

* Posting Payroll.

* Ensure stock valuations are correct in SAP.

* Assist with the year end close and working papers.

* Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts, and quarterly and annual budgets.

* Provide ad hoc requests from finance stakeholders.

* Monthly VAT returns

* Assist in Capex projects.

* Assist in implementing, managing, and monitoring company KPIs.

* Promote understanding and accountability to Engineers to deliver improved commercial control of individual projects and contract deliverables.

* Assist in developing the current admin staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Part Qualified/Qualified

* Desirable to have experience working in an FMCG manufacturing environment.

* ERP system experience ideally SAP Business One.

* Strong Excel, analytical and reporting skills.

* High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with financial information.
