Finance Manager

Finance Manager – Thetford - £45,000 - £55,000
This is the number 1 finance role, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
You’ll be managing a team of 3 and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function.
  
What You’ll Do:
You will ensure the timely production of accurate management accounts, manage cash flows, and apply accounting policies consistently, review debtors, handle VAT submissions and payments, and authorize payments.
Collaborating with other departments, you’ll manage exceptions affecting accounts, oversee costing and pricing functions, and handle capital expenditure and depreciation. Additionally, you'll manage utilities and various contracts, acting as a key contact for purchase management.
  
What You Need:
Formal accounting qualification with proven experience
Full ledger and cash management experience
Expertise in costing, margin reporting, and exception handling
Corporate experience and a broad understanding of financial concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP software
Proven management skills, ideally within a manufacturing environment
