Role: Finance Manager



Location: Leicester



Salary: �50,000 - �55,000

As a result of business growth, in this newly created position, you will be working closely with senior stake holders as part of a busy international team, responsible for delivering statutory and regulatory reports, and supporting in the creation and maintenance of robust project governance and control policies.





Your role will include:






  • Produce yearly plans and forecasts

  • Ensure all appropriate P&L and balance sheets reconciliations are performed

  • Produce annual budgets

  • Monitor and analyse spend against budget

  • Conduct variance analysis

  • Take a lead on internal and external audits

  • Assist with statutory reporting and completion of Tax packages

  • Prepare quarterly and annual returns

  • Support with on-going improvement initiatives, including analytical tools, creation of policies, and review of technology or systems

  • Become a key contact for senior operational management team

  • Prepare and present key financial information

  • Support and interact with the broader Financial Accounting team with ad-hoc tasks





Your background:






  • Proven experience is key - previous financial accounting experience is essential

  • Able to prepare and review financial statements

  • Possess excellent report writing skills, and be able to present detailed information to senior management team

  • Able to prioritise work and meet fixed deadlines

  • Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or similar)

  • Good command of Excel

  • A team player with a positive can-do attitude, resilient, collaborative, and organised
