Finance Manager

A leading, London market Reinsurance business is recruiting for a Finance Manager to fill a new created position within its management structure.Reporting to the Head of Finance and supervising two members of staff, the successful candidate will carry out a broad range of duties including (but not limited to) financial and statutory reporting, forecasting, managing tax reporting and transfer pricing requirements, maintaining an efficient cash management, accounts payable and expense process, help implement systems and process improvements and contribute towards UK accounting projects as well as wider Group related projects.Suitable applicants will be qualified accountants with relevant accounting experience gained within an insurance / reinsurance business, have knowledge / experience of IFRS and Solvency II, have worked on finance related projects before and be comfortable managing a small team.
