Finance Manager

Salary dependant on skillset and experience: starting from £35,000- £50,000Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation, is seeking a Finance Manager to provide comprehensive financial assistance and support to their Directors. This role also entails handling certain HR and general business duties.As a Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to work independently, using your excellent attention to detail and outstanding communication skills to successfully manage competing priorities.If you have experience with Sage and a minimum qualification of AAT, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Directors to provide operational and strategic financial supportPrepare, monitor, and review the annual budgetCreate and maintain accurate cashflow forecastsDevelop sales and product mix forecastsPrepare monthly management accounts and year-end accountsHandle all aspects of payroll processingManage the bank reconciliation process, including foreign currency accountsProcess supplier invoices and paymentsReceipt income from customers, including online salesReconcile credit cardsSubmit monthly VAT returnsManage accruals and prepaymentsLiaise with auditorsHR Responsibilities:Offer generalist HR support and advice to the DirectorsPrepare offer letters, employment contracts, and updates to terms of employmentMonitor and update HR policiesPromote effective employee relations, including addressing grievances, disciplinary matters, and absence and performance managementManage annual leaveOther Responsibilities:Oversee insurance policiesProvide cover/support for the Export Coordinator and Stock Control when necessaryManage IT support and liaise with external contractorsOversee facilities management and associated service contractsCompany pension and bonus schemeFree parking20 days holiday plus 8 paid bank holidays (increasing to 25 days)Rural location with uncongested access - outskirts of ColchesterDon't miss this opportunity to join a dynamic organisation as their Finance Manager.
