Their commitment to excellence has propelled us to the forefront of their industry.As they continue to grow, they are dedicated to maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.Role Overview:As Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and ensuring operational efficiency. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:Leadership and Oversight:Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy finance function, including effective line management within the team.Collaborate closely with the Finance Director and Financial Controller to achieve departmental targets.Team Development:Coordinate staff development initiatives, conducting regular staff appraisals and fostering professional growthFacilitate one-on-one sessions to support team members’ career progressing:Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.Present financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) during internal and to clients.Budgeting and Control:Lead the preparation of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Maintain day-to-day control over all aspects of profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet management.Client Interaction:Address ad hoc customer requests promptly and effectively, meeting required deadlines.Develop financial reporting structures that enhance business value.Stakeholder Engagement:Ensure our customer-facing finance colleagues meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.Provide comprehensive financial reports, including primary financial reports, trading dashboards, and divisional and client financial information.Performance Evaluation:Continuously review and report actual financial performance against budget.Back up your insights with clear documentation and explanations, adding value to our decision-making processes.Process Excellence:Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications and Experience:Qualified Accountant: Ideally ACCA, CIMA, or CA, with relevant post-qualification experience (2-3 years+). Qbe’s with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.Experience: Significant experience in a finance manager role or an outstanding candidate ready for the next step. Excellent technical knowledge in management accounting, financial reporting, and taxation.Client Focus: Experience working within a client-driven environment, understanding and delivering business requirements.Interpersonal Skills: Confidence and strong communication skills when interfacing with internal/external stakeholders at all levels.People Management: Proven track record of managing staff including121’sWhat’s onoffer?Competitive salary and benefits pa ckage.Collaborative
