Sheridan Maine are working closely with a growing business based in Poole who are keen to secure a Finance Manager for the business.As Finance Manager you will oversee the Finance teams daily operations, manage team members, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the Finance Manager is accountable for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting and budget analysis, cash flow and risk management, requiring strong analytical and commercial skills.Reporting to the CFO this Finance Manager will work closely with the Senior Management Team to increase the Company's efficiency and profitability by assisting with the medium and long-term financial plan.Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:Prepare monthly Management Accounts and assist with the preparation of statutory AccountsProduce financial statements including P&L, cashflow, variance analysis and commentariesEnsure Tax compliance and complete all tax returns as requiredManagement and approval of the monthly payrollEnsure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations and managing the annual audit with external auditorsManage the cash flow and conduct P&L cost analysisThe successful Finance Manager will possess the following experiences and skills:ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified, Qualified by Experience or StudyingProven experience working as a Finance Manager or Senior Management AccountantIn-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeepingHands-on experience with budgeting and risk managementExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecastingHighly skilled in Microsoft Excel and proficient using accounting softwareComfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative and entrepreneurial environmentStrong analytical and decision making skillsOn offer to the successful candidate, is a competitive salary and benefits package (including hybrid working 1-2 days from home) and a unique opportunity to join an exciting and pragmatic business at a peak growth stage and assist in their ongoing development.
