Job DescriptionWe are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a Not-for-Profit in Birmingham to recruit a Finance Manager. The role is paying £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.A Birmingham based charity that delivers support services to adults and children, they have been supporting the local area for over 70 years.Finance Manager:Responsible for the full financial management of the charity, inclusive of it's subsidiaries.Provide financial reporting and key information to the Board of Directors.Produce monthly management accounts for both internal and external stakeholders.Lead finance position within the charity, reporting directly to the CEO.Preparation of year end (Charity SORP) accounts.Lead with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.Lead the external audit for the organisation and it's subsidiaries.Manage a small finance team.Oversee and highlight financial risks and governance issues, providing guidance to the Senior Leadership Team.Develop, review and manage financial systems and processes.Ensure internal controls and statutory compliance are robust.Lead in VAT and Tax reviews, inclusive of all submissions.Report to the Board of Trustees across the Charity and it's subsidiaries.Performance review, mentor and train the finance team.Complete company secretarial duties.Finance Manager:It is essential you hold at least 3 years experience within a Finance Managerial position for a Not-for-Profit.You will ideally be ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA/AGMA or equivalent qualified.It is important you can evidence preparing statutory accounts in line with Charity (SORP) regulations.You will be a collaborative and customer focused finance professional who can manage stakeholders at all levels.You must be able to evidence presenting or providing financial information to a Board of Directors/Trustees.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of improving system processes and procedures.You will have strong Microsoft and Excel package skills.Ideally, you will have experience line managing a small team.Company secretarial experience is desirable.Finance Manager:£50,000 - £55,00028 days annual leave, plus 8 public holidaysIncrease in annual leave with length of serviceHybrid / flexible working37 hours per weekSickness Pay - increases with continuous serviceFree parking at the Birmingham officeEA First Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent vacancy.
