Working in partnership with a very successful growth ecommerce platform company, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join the team at their head office in Stockport, on a full-time, permanent basis.As the Finance Manager, you will be integral to the growth - analysing, researching, and producing a broad range of financial forecasts, models, and reports. Working directly with the executive team, you'll play a pivotal role in building a best-in-class commercial finance function supporting the future of the company.Key Responsibilities will include:Produce financial and analytical reports.Support with closing month-end accounts for group functionsProduce and develop reports from profit and loss analysis.Analyse track and present commercial and financial trends and variancesnalyse company opportunities and threatsHelp build out new KPI reports such as acquisition efficiency and supporting Non-Finance FunctionsComplete commercial business partnering and ad hoc analysis to enable optimal business decision-making.Lead on other process improvement initiatives as and when necessaryThe ideal candidate should have:A degree in Finance/Maths/Accounting/Economics/Similar (2:1 or above)Numerous years' post-qualification experience in a commercial role ideally with SaaS experience although not essentialFully qualified; ACA CIMAIdeally familiar with SaaS metrics such as MRR ARR CAC LTVAdvanced Excel skill and comfortable with the manipulation of large data setsAbility to turn complex data sets into meaningful insights.Demonstrable history of process improvement initiativesExcellent financial modelling skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsTeam: coaching 1 with possibly 2 more heads to manage in the near futureFlexible hours- start work between 8-10am and work 8 hours Monday to Friday. Wednesday the whole company works from home.Progression opportunity- with recent investments the company is looking to target bigger accounts and with this looking to potentially progress the successful candidate to CFO in the future.In return you will receive a salary between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, 30 days holiday each year, plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
