Finance Manager

We are excited to be supporting our client, an employer of choice, in the recruitment of a Finance Manager for a fixed period of 14 months, maternity cover.You will join a highly knowledgeable and well respected team within a company working to facilitate change in the energy industry and build a new business around Net Zero. They are strong in principles and values which support the business in achieving its purpose.As a growing organisation operating in the heritage oil & gas sector and the emerging net zero and energy transition space, this represents a chance to take on a role with real challenge, content, responsibility and autonomy, within a highly supportive company culture.You will be responsible for:Overseeing the timely issuance of financial information;Preparation of financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (including statutory financial statements);Acting as key contact for statutory and joint venture audits;Ensuring maintenance of accurate accounting records and internal control environment;Ensuring that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and HMRC;Managing all information requests in relation to new projects;Integrating any new projects to the existing financial management structure;In addition to an attractive base salary, annual bonus and market leading benefits (including a 20% non contributory pension), you will have access to a wide range of interesting and varied opportunities and regular interaction with senior leaders.
