Finance Manager

Your new companyHay are working in partnership with a manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Galashiels who, due to a period of growth, are looking to add some invaluable expertise to their already knowledgeable team. This is a forward-thinking organisation within the industry who are planning to grow and will provide flexibility in working hours and work from home patterns.Your new roleYour new role is essential to both the technical perfromamce of the the finance team, but also the guidance and supervision. You will work in collaboration with the UK Finance Director to help aid the direction of the business process and wider financial planning. You will also aid in the day to day accounting and will have the responsibility of line managing 2 junior members of staff. Previous line management experience is not necessary but would be advantageous. Please see list of duties below:Prepare and present monthly management reporting to UK Finance and Operations Director and Group Finance Director, including analysis of budget versus actual resultsProduce consolidated management accounts for UK Finance and Operations DirectorPrepare/monitor cash flows and ensure all transactions are within financial guidelines, also to ensure timely payments to suppliers and collection of receivables from customersPrepare and present monthly management reporting to UK Finance and Operations Director and Group Finance Director, including analysis of budget versus actual resultsProduce various monthly sales and gross margin reports for the UK Finance and Operations Director and Head of SalesProduce consolidated management accounts for UK Finance and Operations DirectorAssist with the preparation of monthly payroll and associated tasksBecome an ERP superuserThis role is great for someone already operating at this level but is also an amazing option for any candidate who would like to take there next step up within their career in a supportive yet challenging environment.What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed you will be a highly motivated, fully qualified or QBE finance professional who is eager to explore a new challenge.
