We are now searching for a high-performing, innovative and results-oriented Finance Manager to join the finance team. The successful candidate will support the current Finance team in all aspects of accounting. As Finance Manager your responsibilities will include assisting with end-to-end finance operations, financial analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.The day to dayResponsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities and providing timely and accurate information, including preparation of monthly management accounts for some entities including;Revenue and Cost AnalysisReconciling balance sheet accounts and taking responsibility for resolution of issues.Preparing and posting all journals including payroll, accruals and prepayment schedulesPreparation and processing of inter-group rechargesMaintain Fixed Asset RegistersMonthly analytics explaining the financials, cost impacts, revenue impacts and working with FP&A on any variances to forecastLiaising with team on the monthly and annual close process, including meeting all financial reporting deadlinesWeekly cashflow reportingPreparation of VAT returns & filings for UK and US entitiesCalculation of quarterly staff commission paymentsLiaise, co-ordinate, support, explain and give information during audit processOverseeing activities with external agencies where necessary such as banks, pension companies, tax authorities etc.One direct report, two indirect reports responsible for AR and APAd-hoc requests /projects including assisting with system improvementsAbout youQualified Accountant (with significant industry experience)Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge with financial reporting, technical accounting and analyticsUnderstanding of financial control processes and proceduresHighly motivated self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.Responsible individual who takes ownership, makes recommendations and takes the lead on delivering efficienciesAdaptable to a changing/fast paced working environment and comfortable with meeting tight deadlinesGood business acumen and an ability to work across boundaries and culturesExcellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service.Nice to HaveNetsuite experienceInternational Accounting in a multinational environmentExperience with accounting integration of acquisitionsExperience with continuous improvement initiatives and change management activities.Benefits:Time off - 25 days leave + public holidaysx1 day Birthday leave per yearCompany Pension Scheme (employer contribution 5%) + flexible salary sacrificeEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP) - access to dedicated mental health, emotional wellbeing and general advicePrivate Medical Healthcare with Bupa (post probation)Discounted Dental Insurance with Bupa (via salary sacrifice)Regular EkcoEats socials - monthly lunch in the office for allEkcOlympics - a global activity for fun!Learning & development - Unlimited access to Udemy learning platformA lot of responsibilities & opportunities to grow (also internationally)Why Ekco:Ranked as Ireland's 4th fastest growing technology company in the Deloitte Fast50 AwardsVMware & Veeam top partner statusEkco are committed to cultivating an environment that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion and belongingWe recognise the value of internal mobility and encourage opportunities for internal development & progressionFlexible working with a family friendly focus are at the core of our company values
