Finance ManagerDepartment: Finance & Operational Support ServicesEmployment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: BristolReporting To: Chief Finance OfficerCompensation: GBP 45,000 - GBP 55,000 / yearDescriptionDue to the significant growth over the last 18 months, we are looking to expand the Finance team to help streamline our processes, improve our financial analysis and forecasts and provide coaching and guidance to the Finance team.You will be exposed to a range of jobs, with no two days being the same you will need to be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, in a fun and energetic team.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for the accuracy, quality and timeliness of global financial reportingIdentifying and implementing process improvements over the Group.Producing and monitoring budgets and forecasts for divisions of GDS Group, and reporting on variancesEnsuring that all finance processes are robust, fit for purpose and meet statutory and stakeholder requirementsSupport in implementing new finance reporting software and processesKey support with target, planning and forecasting cycles for the P&L and cashLeading the annual Group auditManaging our FX exposure and maximising FX gainsProcessing of some month end journals and monitoring balance sheet reconciliationsAdhoc commercial business requestsAssisting staff in the finance department with training or any tasks required to meet deadlinesSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)2+ years post qualification experienceExperience working in a fast-paced environment as part of a high-performance teamExcellent attention to detail and strong analytical skillsAbility to communicate financial information to colleagues outside of the finance departmentStrong systems knowledge: Excel, NetSuite, Salesforce, Payhawk, Datarails, Bamboo HRBenefits25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pensionCycle to work schemeAccess to employee health and well-being session, free to all staff, along with enrolment in our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Exceptional career progression as we look to build on our growth over the next few years.
