We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team based in Farningham, Kent.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the company's finances and will be an integral member of the senior management team at Watts Farms.This position will be based at our offices in Farningham, Kent and due to the location of the role, access to your own transport would be required.If you are a motivated finance professional with a proven track record in financial management and reporting, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply for this opportunity.What does the job involve?The production and reporting of reliable and accurate financial and management information on a weekly and monthly basis.Management of the Assistant Finance ManagerWorking with associated group companies on levies and grantsAssisting with financial requirements of Quinta Fresca, a Portuguese subsidiaryConducting costing work, preparing budgets and managing cash flowsAssisting the management team with financial projects.Maintaining banking facilitiesImplementation of software to achieve clean and accurate ordering, receipt and payment for goods and services.Detailed analysis of customer & product information including developing insight into the cost base of the operating business.Maintaining leasing agreements and loans with appropriate beneficiaries.Key Skills / ExperienceQualified or qualified by relevant experienceCommercial acumen, with experience working closely with operational teamsAbility to work to deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.Experience in budgeting, financial planning & reportingPrevious experience in people managementExcellent team and project work experienceStrong organisational skills, including advanced Excel & ERP knowledgeWorking hours08:00 - 17:00 Monday to FridayAbout UsWatts Farms is a third-generation family run business.
