Job DescriptionFinance ManagerMalton, North Yorkshire£35,000 - £38,000 per annumPermanent Office based roleCommutable from Pickering, Malton, York, Kirkbymoorside, Scarborough, Stamford Bridge, Driffield, North YorkshireHawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established company based in Malton, North Yorkshire – the company is based just off the A64.The RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for this permanent full-time role who is self-motivated, organised, efficient and able to manage many varied projects and tasks. You will be responsible for all the financial aspects of the company, including payroll, banking and reconciliations, invoicing, ledgers, analysis and reporting, VAT, budgeting and cash flow management.DutiesMaintaining financial records for multiple entities using Intuit Quickbooks OnlineCalculate and adjust for any prepayments, accruals, deferred income and depreciationReconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain fixed asset registersPrepare year end accounts for completion by external accountantsPrepare and update budgets and monitor cashflowPrepare monthly Management Accounts and ad-hoc P&L’sPrepare and submit VAT returns including partial exemption using QuickbooksReconcile bank accountsPayment of tax liabilities, including income and corporation taxReconcile inter-entity accounts and pay recharges as appropriateOversee all ledger accounts, including raising sales invoices, reconciling supplier accounts and supplier paymentsCo-ordinate the weekly banking of takings from the visitor attractionPrepare and process monthly payrolls and holiday entitlements including preparation of P11D’sAdministrate the company pension scheme including auto enrolment dutiesAssist with staff recruitment, monitor staff absences and holidaysLine management of Office/Finance AssistantEnsure compliance with relevant legislation e.g. PCI standards and Making Tax DigitalImprove efficiencies and reduce costsSkills/ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar roleACCA/CIMA/AAT Level 4 qualified preferredPractical experience of Payroll Processing and VAT ReturnsAbility to manage people effectively and work well as part of a teamExcellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Quickbooks or SageA proven multi-tasker who is organised, efficient and productive as well as being accurate and having great attention to detailAbility to work on your own initiative and research problemsConfident and professional in dealing with both external and internal partiesBenefitsAccess to company pension scheme with 3% employer contribution24 days holiday per annum plus bank holidaysPotential support with ongoing accountancy studies20% discount of productsFree on-site parkingPotential further training opportunitiesIf you would like to apply for the role of Finance Manager then please email your CV to ##### or call Deb on 07557803946Closing date is 26.4.2023 Please note this could change subject to suitable applications.Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are acting as an employment agency on behalf of its client.By applying for the above position and providing your personal data to us you understand that your data will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
