An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a busy manufacturing company who are seeking to strengthen their finance team. This is a blended role, incorporating the preparation of monthly management reports, the ownership of payroll processing, and supporting the finance team with general accounting tasks.
The Finance Manager duties will include:
- Support monthly management accountant processes
- Responsible for checking weekly timesheets for monthly payroll
- Analysis of timesheet reports for monthly payroll
- Ensure compliance with pension regulations
- Create payroll reports
- Support team with general accounts tasks, such as: Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Credit Control
Skills and experience:
- Able to work in a varied finance role is key
- Experience of producing monthly management reports
- Previous payroll experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Effective communication skills
- Previous experience of managing a team
- IT Skills - Microsoft Office essential and ERP desirable
