As Finance Manager you will support the strategic direction of the business, overall responsibility for the production and management of financial information, and lead a small finance team of 4x.

Client Details

Our client is a market leading Global FMCG Business who have had an exciting year of growth. This role will be based from their Stirling site and there's free parking available.

Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

  • Part of Senior Management team on site, determining strategic direction of business
  • Manage & Develop team of 4 support staff, including annual appraisals, training needs and KPI's
  • Maintain & Develop financial and operational controls to ensure accurate reporting
  • Understand the business processes as a whole and the impact they have on the financial performance of the site
  • Ensure that adequate controls are in place to record and validate all transactions that occur within the business and that they are translated into the financial ledgers correctly
  • Ensure the finance team as a whole produce accurate, timely and meaningful information for the management of the business
  • Setting, Review & monitoring of Key performance indicators across the site, including operational and commercial areas
  • Review and maintain Balance sheet controls to include full reconciliations
  • Weekly Management accounts and reporting, including presentation
  • Monthly Financial & Management accounts and reporting, including presentation
  • Annual accounts and liaison with both internal and external auditors
  • Ensure that any existing or new IT systems development meets the needs of the business and provides all necessary controls

Profile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

  • Newly-Qualfied ACCA/CIMA/CA
  • High level of self-motivation, and target driven
  • Proactively seek and share solutions rather than problems
  • Ability to recognise opportunities and deliver results; sales / profits / reduce costs
  • Adaptable in approach
  • Professionally manages workload and prioritises accordingly.
  • To be a strong and highly motivated team focused individual with a strong team ethic communicating and liaising successfully across departments, whilst delivering individual work to a high standard.
  • To be well organised and a good timekeeper
  • Excellent influencing skills
  • Exceptional business development instincts and experience
  • Ability to multi-task across several projects and prioritise work accordingly

Job Offer

This role offers a competitive salary between �50,000-�60,000 plus benefits.
