Hay are working in partnership with a manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Galashiels who, due to a period of growth, are looking to add some invaluable expertise to their already knowledgeable team. This is a forward-thinking organisation within the industry who are planning to grow and will provide flexibility in working hours and work from home patterns.
Your new role
Your new role is essential to both the technical perfromamce of the the finance team, but also the guidance and supervision. You will work in collaboration with the UK Finance Director to help aid the direction of the business process and wider financial planning.
You will also aid in the day to day accounting and will have the responsibility of line managing 2 junior members of staff. Previous line management experience is not necessary but would be advantageous.
