The Finance Manager role is crucial in ensuring the financial health of the business as well as providing the unique prospect of contributing to the strategic financial decision-making process and drive the future success of the business.
Reporting into the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will collaborate with other working department and clients, analysing current and future service contracts in relation to tender pricing, return on investment and profitability.
This distinctive and well-rounded opportunity would be fantastic for a studier or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA), either from practice or industry where they can get stuck into real-time numbers and contribute positively within a personable and caring business.

Responsibilities:

• Management Accounts - Prepare monthly budgets, forecasts, P&L's and balance sheets
• Financial Accounts - Complete and submit VAT returns, supporting audits and tax returns
• Job Costings - Analyse and review tender bid pricing for ongoing and future projects
• Payroll - Running of the payroll process and preparation of P11D forms
• Transactions - Supplier payments, credit control & intercompany transfers
• Process Improvement - Oversee invoice process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Supervise a junior member, providing support and advice

What we are looking for:

• A studier or qualified professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT) or qualified by experience (QBE)
• Strong IT skills including Excel and accounting software such as Xero, Sage & QuickBooks
• Technically equipped with a commercial savvy mindset
• A collaborative and team focused approach as you will be regularly working with other departments and clients.
