About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the European Finance team supporting the UK sales businesses alongside colleagues supporting our European
subsidiaries in France, Spain, Germany and Benelux. As the Finance Manager you’ll be responsible for the financial reporting and commercial support for our sales in both our domestic business in the UK and through our worldwide distribution network. As part of the role you’ll work closely with the General Managers and management teams with business planning, target setting, cross functional improvement projects, as well as delivering monthly management accounts for your channels.In this 12 month fixed term contract you will have the opportunity to manage a UK Management accountant as well as the Credit Control team, developing capabilities, performance and the team’s wellbeing. About you
You will be well organised and logical with a methodical approach and high level of attention to detail. You will have good analytical skills and be self-motivated with the ability to work independently, managing your own workload to meet deadlines. You will also need to have good written and verbal communication skills and work well as part of a team.
You will have good computer skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, using your skills to manage and analyse large amounts of data. Knowledge of Oracle (or similar) accounting package experience advantageous but not essential. You will have demonstrated experience in industry or practice and be qualified in ACCA,ACA and CIMA. Experience of line management responsibility is not essential with the role being a great opportunity to develop the skills in leading a small team. The salary range will be
£55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance and Bonus
