Finance Manager - Public Services

They are seeking a Finance Manager (DP) for a period of 12 months with possible extension. They are based in South Belfast and offer hybrid working. Your new roleThe Finance Manager role is to assist with enhancing the programme governance and compliance controls in place over projects spend across the organisation. This role is around financial planning/ budgeting, financial accounting/auditing, management accounting and cost analysis and development. What you'll need to succeedMust have successfully passed the final professional examinations and be a full, current member of one of the professional bodies detailed below*:Chartered Accountants IrelandThe Institute of Chartered Accountants in ScotlandThe Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and WalesThe Chartered Institute of Management AccountantsThe Association of Chartered Certified AccountantsThe Chartered Institute of Public Finance and AccountancyThe Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.Three years’ post-qualification** demonstrable full time (or equivalent part-time) experience gained in the last five years, in a finance related environment, in two or more areas of:financial planning and budgetingfinancial accounting/auditingmanagement accounting and cost analysisdevelopment/implementation of financial systems.Two year’s demonstrable full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience gained in the last five years of utilising computerised accounting software packages.Demonstrable experience of implementing financial procedures and preparation of financial and statistical reports for SMT.Demonstrable experience of staff management, including leading a team and performance and development of staff.
