About the RoleAs a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in forecasting, reporting and influencing the financial and commercial outcomes of operations, stock and cash management.You will be focused on working with numerous business areas to manage the stock holding of the Consumer Business Unit, forecast future stock intake requirements and report actual stock positions vs budget. You will play a key role in supporting the Consumer Opex business partnering team. Your role will provide recommendations, high-quality analysis and clearly and concisely explain key reporting and insight.Your role will require you to work collaboratively with Commercial colleagues as a valued and trusted advisor and provide support and challenge to their initiatives and opportunities.Key responsibilities in the role include:Business Partnering to Supply Chain, Procurement, Product and Operations teams, providing timely and insightful reporting and analysis to the areas of the business to drive improvements and key initiatives.Creating budgets and reforecasts of the EBITDA impact of stock dispatches/intakes and stock holding position on the balance sheet.Articulate current performance, accurate forecast of future stock positions and value add analysis to aid in key decision making.Develop relationships with key stakeholders and help them understanding financial implications of decisions and impact on wider business strategy, while aiding them in achieving their financial and strategic targets.Proactively involved in the creation and development of high-quality business cases, ensuring financial implications are thoroughly understood and articulated to drive value add in the business.Contribute and attend the weekly R&O forum, identifying and recommending opportunities to improve financial outcomes whilst supporting the business to quantify and mitigate emerging risks.Work alongside the Core Finance team and wider business to streamline and improve financial processes, reporting and analysis to drive more accurate information and support key business initiatives.Supporting Head of Finance on reporting for Operations and Management OverheadsSupporting in the Creation of budgets and reforecasts reporting for Operations and Management OverheadsSupport in the reporting of current performance for Operations and Management Overheads and value add analysis to aid in key decision making.Critical member of the Commercial Finance team providing support and cover for the Head of Finance where required.About You You will be a qualified Accountant with strong stakeholder management experience, ideally from a consumer facing businessStrong experience of Creating budgets and reforecastsKnowledge and understanding of Opex and cashAs a recognised Top 50 Inclusive Employer in the UK, we know that diversity means success and innovation.
