At a glance
This role is based at our Herbert Parkinson Textile Factory in Darwen, Lancashire and will require you to work on site. Flexible working can be discussed at the interview.
The salary range for this role is set at £38,000 to £60,800 per annum.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
About the role
As part of the Herbert Parkinson Management Team, you will be accountable for leading and delivering in all aspects of Partner, process and performance, within the Finance function. This will include supporting the formation and delivery of the branch strategy. As the Finance Manager, you will lead the Herbert Parkinson Finance Team in the production and control of accurate branch financial and costing information to achieve the branch's operating plan. You will drive improvements that create financial value through business partnering and meaningful management information reporting.

Essential skills you'll need
Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Accounting experience (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable)
Appropriate skills in use of financial software packages and window based pc applications, in particular, Excel
Team Management
Management of multiple and widespread stakeholders
