to read more about the full range of benefits we have available for our colleaguesAbout the roleDistribution is a varied and fast paced area that services every Tesco UK format and fuel forecourt, through a network of distribution centres and the use of road, rail and sea. Over 15,000 Tesco colleagues work within our distribution network.This fantastic role will partner the Head of Distribution Network Development and the People Partner for Distribution and Fulfilment. You will provide insight, challenge and strategic support of the long-term strategies ensuring we have robust plans to deliver Tesco’s network strategy and Distribution people agenda.You will be responsible forBusiness partner the distribution team ensuring the delivery of large programmes of workSupport the delivery of the distribution 5-year network strategy by building robust cases and driving continuous improvement. Business case development and analysis to deliver capital investments in excess of £250mCollaborate with finance and non-finance colleagues across the business, to ensure we unlock the maximum valueOwn the strategic planning cycle for Network strategy, including long term plan and annual budgetOwn the finance understanding for all programmes including cross functional projectsProvide proactive insight and challenge to support decision makingYou will needAccountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Finance experience in driving strategic priorities in large complex organisationsExperience of engaging and working with senior colleaguesExperience in managing strategic projects and managing large scale budgetsHighly evolved financial analysis skills, and experience dealing with large quantities of data and turning it into insight/actions#LI-AG1#LI-HybridAbout usOur vision at Tesco is to become every customer's favourite way to shop, whether they are at home or out on the move.
