Finance Manager - Commercial and Operations

Job Description
A rapidly growing and unique e-commerce and Retail business with a fantastic, flexible and fast paced and people culture is on the hunt for a Commercial Finance & Operations Manager. The role will offer great exposure and progression and grow their team. This role will suit a strong business partner.
The key part of the role is financial management across all aspects of revenue and cost of sales. The role will report to our Financial Controller and play a key part in building scalable operational solutions whilst maintaining robust financial controls as the business scales across multiple regions, introduces new revenue streams and further develops its international sourcing arrangements and relationships with partner brands. The candidate will frequently work directly with our CFO.
The role responsibilities:
Business partner with the leadership team
Ensure accurate revenue and gross margin reporting. Monitor existing processes and develop /enhance key financial controls for sales and sourcing teams
To monitor KPI performance and challenge the business to be financially efficient
Maintain tight control of core stock
Be commercial - Facilitate sales growth and maximise margin and report numbers to senior leaders
Motivate and lead the Financial Operations team
Help establish processes that will enable us to speed up the road to sustainable profitability
Work on many strategic projects for the business
The ideal candidate:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 2-3 year PQE
A strong ambitious and sharp communicator
Prior “hands on” finance manager experience
Experience gained in e-commerce, FMCG, Retail or similar fast paced business
People management experience and able to motivate others to “think outside the box”
E-commerce experience preferred
