Finance Manager - Agresso Finance and HRThe closing date for applications is: 28th May 2024Interviews will be held week commencing: TBC Pay Level 9Contract Type: PermanentWorking Hours: 37 hours a weekThe closing date for applications is: 28th May 2024Interviews will be held week commencing: TBCWhat you'll be doing:To help the team support and maintain the Unit4 systemAssist on Unit4 Development work (upgrades, improvement work, module implementations)Ensuring that Finance and HR system users operate with optimised processesResponsible for reviewing, designing, and ensuring compliance with system controls, access, processes and workflowsServe as an in–house Unit4 super user and expert, responsible for resolving issues, delivering training, and promoting best practicesCreate financial/HR reports to meet business requirements, providing insights and recommendations to managementReview user of the system to identify improvements that can be made for the end–user experienceTeam training and development &a;ndash; including transfer of skills and knowledgeProactively identify and resolve potential problems in an effort to prevent them from occurring and improve the overall customer experience.Work closely with other members of the IT team and other stakeholders to support and implement business solutionsPrioritise workload based on severity and impactEnsure all incidents and requests for service etc. are managed in a timely and appropriate manner following relevant processesWrite code and complete SQL scripting within established guidelines and standardsMaintain user access and data control &a;ndash; to ensure robust control of sensitive data and access by stakeholdersMaintain reporting structures, system parameters, attribute data and chart of accountsAnalysing and documenting current system processes to identify areas for improvement and to enhance maintainabilityWhat you'll need:Extensive knowledge of Unit4 Business World/ERP (Agresso)Experience of working on multiple modules e.g. AP/AR/GL, Planner, Logistics, HR, PayrollSQL and script–writing skills Excelerator, RERX, Browsers or otherwise1st and 2nd line support experience, and be able to escalate higher issues to Unit4 (or other partners) directlyProficient in configuring Unit4 to effectively meet business requirementsFinance qualified/part qualified (CCAB/AAT or similar) or qualified by experience (Good exposure of working within a financial environment)Our Council:People are proud to live and work in Slough where diversity is celebrated and where residents can enjoy fulfilling prosperous and healthy lives.
