Based in London, Milton Keynes or WilmslowJob title: Finance Manager – FTC 12 MonthsLocation: London, Milton Keynes or WilmslowJob SummaryTo support the management of the product and financial control function and support monthly, quarterly, half-year and year end and reporting.Key responsibilitiesManaging the month-end close process including review and approval of the journal entries in a timely mannerOversight of the accounts payable function including processing payments, approval of the related journal entries in the accounting systemWorking closely with Treasury for hedge accounting assessment and accordingly updating hedge accounting workingsProducing/reviewing monthly balance sheet and income statement General Ledger code reconciliationsPreparation of month-end Flash report and management accountsForecasting the financial results on a monthly basisOversight and improvement of internal controls across Financial Control and Reporting functionDevelop and regularly update the Finance department policies and process notesPreparation of annual financial statements and liaising with the external auditors, and providing relevant information to ensure their queries are dealt with in a timely mannerAssist with the Group consolidation processPreparation and submission of returns to HMRC in a timely mannerReviewing the monthly costs analysis workings and automating the processUpdate relevant Finance department policies and process notesAssist with implementation of any new accounting standardsProvide ad hoc reporting as and when requiredReviewing the daily product control reportsEnsuring all deal bookings are booked correctly and flowing as expected in the accounting module and escalate to relevant personsAssists Head of Finance in budget and forecast reports, and related ad hoc requestsSupport product control reporting re-designAssist with the implementation of any new systemsProvide cover to senior team members, when necessaryLead your team by role modelling our ROC values and behaviours.
