Finance Governance Officer - (Power BI Reporting skills essential) 6 Months - Inside IR35 - £360pd

Hawksworth UK have partnered with a leading financial client who are looking to hire a ‘ Finance Governance Office r with good Power BI skills for reporting, on a six-month assignment Inside IR35. The rate is between £300 - £360per day to the Umbrella company.
The role is hybrid working (Only 1 day mandatory in the office per week)

Essential for this role is: Someone who has worked in a Risk team /Risk department in a Finance organisation. Good
Power BI Reporting skills is essential . Someone who can make a lasting impact and help ‘simplify’ the reporting process.
Main Job purpose:
The Finance Governance Officer will assist the Head of Finance Governance, Risk & Controls with the following activities and responsibilities.
• Risk related activities are implemented & reported in accordance with the Risk and Control framework.
• UK Division compliance with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR).
• Data Governance standards (including those relating to GDPR) are met through effective end-to-end data controls with appropriate reporting to the relevant Boards and Committees.
Required skills:
PowerBI Reporting skills
Good with Data
Experience working in a Risk Department
Great communication skills.
Able to make lasting processes changes to help Financial Reporting.
Great communication skills, interpersonal skills, good communicating with all areas of the businesses and building relationships.
GDPR experience is nice to have.
