Finance & Enterprise Officer (Finance)

This role is based within the Faculty’s External Partnerships and Finance professional services department and is an essential role to the success of the faculty’s revenue budget including commercial and research external income generation. The department provides an integrated and highly professional service which advises, guides and supports faculty staff priorities. The successful post holder will be able to demonstrate. You will be educated to A level standard or equivalent and have robust office and administrative experience working in a financial department. You will be able to demonstrate your proficiency in the use of all office technology and a fully competent user of excel. You will have experience of records management and databases and have experience in monitoring and forecasting commercial and research funded projected and revenue budgets, where you will demonstrate your meticulous approach to attention to detail. You will have proven experience in your ability to analyse complex data, and be able to identify trends and anomalies. You will have supervisory experience and workload management to enable daily overseeing of colleagues within the department. You will have a sound understanding of bid development and be able to highlight anomalies with costing proposals. You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, organisational skills and have a proactive and professional approach.
