Your new role
The Head of Finance will play a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy and operations of the company. You will lead a team of five, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial information and support to the business. Reporting directly to the Group VP of Finance, you will be a key player in managing group stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the finance team to achieve excellence in financial management.
A focus on continuous improvement to automate and streamline monthly group reports
Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks
Financial control and reporting; maintain balance sheet and review of reconciliations
Directly engage with senior management and group stakeholders to develop cohesive financial strategies.
Manage statutory accounts and external audits
Oversee the preparation and planning of budgets.
Implement robust financial controls and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Proven experience in a Finance Director, Financial Controller or Head of Finance role
Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering or similar sector with working knowledge of revenue recognition experience
Proficient in SAP, Power BI and Excel
