Due to an internal leadership promotion within the brand, we are looking to employ a Finance Director. This role will report into our Chief Operating Officer, with a dotted line into the Group Chief Financial Officer.You will have financial responsibility for a £500m division of a major listed business and support the COO/CMO and other Brand Directors to develop and implement UK and global strategic plans.You will understand and challenge all aspects of the division's trading and operational performance and lead the Pretty Little Thing finance function to the standard required within a PLC group.YOUR TEAMAt Pretty Little Thing, we are more than just a brand. Because we aren't.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGKey Responsibilities:Work with each COO and CMO to identify and maximise the profit and commercial opportunities for the PLT Brand.To work with the PLT Product teams to grow revenue in line with the strategic direction of the business for all product areas.To identify the trading opportunity building blocks for PLT and define the required activity to deliver these financial gains.To be accountable for full Brand cost control and ensure appropriate Brand financial processes and procedures are in place. To identify any commercial cost opportunity that might be realised.Work closely with Product and Marketing teams to understand and manage real time trade, including production of financial reporting on a daily/weekly basis as required.Produce monthly results and a monthly close process to plc standard, working closely with the grou finance function and the PLT finance teamWork with the Group BI team to deliver process automation, daily/weekly reporting and commercial analysis in support of trade and business growth.Work with Group data & insight/analytics team to drive commercial value from the brand's data asset. This will include developing an in depth understanding of the available data within the Group.Work with Group functions to manage indirect costs, in particular working with Supply Chain and Group Tech to influence for PLT.Work with Treasury to understand and manage foreign currency exposures.Lead the budget and quarterly forecasting process for the brand.Lead PLT's longer term planning and strategy process and reviews, including presenting strategy to boohoo Senior Leadership Team.Work with financial accounting to ensure trade reporting is consistent with management accounts / statutory reporting, and to develop business understanding of provisioning policy and working capital cycles.To lead, develop and motivate the PLT Finance Team to ensure they are maximised to their full potential and that their objectives are aligned to the PLT Brand Strategy. We're passionate, agile, creative and one team.MORE ABOUT YOUExperience & skills required:You will have the credibility and emotional intelligence to manage multiple stakeholders both in Brand and across the boohoo GroupAn experienced leader of people, capable of motivating, coaching and developing teams.Consumer facing experience; whether in retail or other B2C businesses. Experience of working in an entrepreneurial, dynamic business supporting business growth.
