Job DescriptionGrafton Banks Finance Executive in Sussex has been retained to recruit a Finance Director for a very successful and profitable c£15m turnover SME business near Brighton, East Sussex. The role reports directly to the CEO and will support that individual as well as the rest of the Board by providing regular and timely management information, effective cashflow management, management accounts production, business analysis and the management of ad-hoc future projects. This business has been growing organically as well as through acquisitions and is set to grow further over the next five years with more acquisitions. They have an impressive client base with profitable contracts.Key areas of responsibility include:Business partner the CEO, Chairman and Operations Directors.Management of the cashflow.Financial planning and analysis.Management and development of the small finance team.Monthly management accounts production.Board reporting.Building effective relationships t all levels across the business.Analysis and reporting on contract profitability.Analysis of new revenue streams.Banking.New systems implementation.The role could suit an ambitious Financial Controller looking for their next career move to Finance Director or a current Finance Director who is career hungry to progress. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands on yet commercial FC or FD to support the board, drive increased growth and revenue, produce accurate and timely monthly accounts and add commercial value with business analysis and MI. Candidates need to show experience of effective cash flow management, experience of profit or margin analysis, systems improvement or implementation, relationship management internally and externally with clients, business partnering and challenging the status quo. The role is mainly onsite based with a little flexibility on remote working, is paying £100-110K, and comes with an attractive benefits package to include a bonus scheme, health care, pension, and free parking.
