Finance Director

Role - Finance Director Location - Bolton Salary - Between £100,000 and £120,000 + benefitsMarks Sattin are currently recruiting for a growing SME retail and distribution business in their search for a Finance Director to work out of their office based in Bolton.The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and must have worked for a SME business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of working within a PE backed environment would be a distinct advantage. The ability to work 'hands on' is essential as this role will need someone to get into the detail of the accounts as well as assisting with the more strategic decisions. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Finance Director role will involve:Lead on budgeting and forecastingEnsure month end and year end reporting is done timely and accuratelyLead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisationBuild relationships with banks, auditors etc.Cash-flow managementAssist with the strategy of the business moving forward.Analysis and improvement of the customer journeyManagement of a small finance teamSalary for the role is anywhere between £100,000 and £120,000 + benefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Director for an SME business or perhaps a Financial Controller looking to make the move to a number one role in finance.
