Finance Director

A rapidly expanding technology company based in Reading are looking for a talented Finance Director to lead their finance team. The business is a UK market leader with an unrivalled reputation in their industry. The position offers the responsibility for the entire finance function and requires someone with strong leadership skills who is looking to impact the growth the ambitious growth plans of the business. Key responsibilities:Team management, direction and leadership of the entire finance functionOversight of the budget and forecasting of P&L and cashflow for the business. Providing detailed explanations to senior management for approval.Drive stimulus to ensure that the business adheres to budgets.Business partnering senior stakeholders to identify and support their needs and seek full range of business solutions as necessary.Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new initiatives, strategies, and any regulatory requirements.Liaise with external auditors and consultantsAssess the current finance structure to improve segregation of duties and efficiencies in key finance cycles.Standardize and document policies and processes in line with companywide objectives to implement control improvementsResponsible investment appraisal and integration of all M&A activities Overseeing the production of Management reportingRequirements:Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)Experience of leading a afinance team 5+Excellent leadership experience and qualitiesStrong financial controls and technical accounting skillsThe ability to business partnering with stakeholdersStrong written, verbal communication, and reporting skillsSelf-motivated with ability to lead and teach othersBy applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
