Salary: £80k
Who you are:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3-5yrs PQE
A leader and strong communicator who can manage high-performing teams
Proactive and motivated with analytical approach to problem solving
An excellent project manager with good organisational skills and who can ensure key objectives and timelines are met
Responsibilities:
Oversight of the financial control function, including financial accounting, treasury, tax, systems, and finance transactions
Ownership of ledgers, physical assets & inventory, schedules, intercompany matrices, and reconciliations
Management of accounting policies & practices to ensure alignment with accounting standards
Ensuring data accuracy and reporting timeliness for the following:
Month end entity & group reporting with multicurrency consolidation
Payroll management with external providers
Ensuring organisation & compliance with local tax authorities
Coordinate and manage external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Prepare audit schedules, provide necessary documentation, and address auditor queries
Collaborate with FP&A on reporting, metrics, and key initiatives
Continuous evaluation of systems and governance
Nice to have:
Experience in manufacturing or supply chain management
R&D tax relief claims experience
Familiarity with both SME and ERP systems
Advanced excel and system skills with the ability to teach and guide others
