Pure are delighted to be working in partnership with the University of Cambridge Finance Division as they embark on an exciting Enhanced Financial Transparency (EFT) Project which is highly significant and will have a University-wide impact. The project forms part of an overall Finance Transformation Programme (FTP).
This Finance Business Support role supports the UAS finance business partner team whilst certain members of the team are involved in the EFT project, the UAS (unified Administrative services) team provides core administrative services to the University and this role will act as a financial intermediary between the UAS departments and central finance.�
The main duties will involve -�
- Support the UAS business partnering team in carrying out their responsibilities
- Provide account management support, ie monthly reports, analyse the data and variances.
- Monitor and review the accounts, review income and expenditure against targets
- Ensure that local procedures comply with the Universities financial procedures
- Act as a financial expert intermediary between the departments and the central finance division.��
You will ideally be a part qualified accountant with several years experience working in a financial environment, strong influencing and analytical skills are essential in this role and you must be comfortable working with key stakeholders at varying levels.�
