Here at LAD, we are on the lookout for a cost focused Finance Business Partner, to join our talented finance team based here in Manchester.If you are a finance professional with experience of working in a fast-paced environment, then please get in touch. The role is new due to business expansion. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business in senior positions and be at the absolute centre of cost reporting, budgeting, forecasting and decision making.What will you be doing?Partner with key stakeholders across the business to understand and analyse cost drivers, providing insights and recommendations to drive cost efficiencies.Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Conduct variance analysis against budget and forecast, investigating and explaining any discrepancies to aid decision-making.Be the finance lead in the development of business cases and investment proposals, evaluating the financial impact on costs.Lead on the development and implementation of cost control measures and process improvements to optimise operational performance.Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting cost trends, risks, and opportunities.Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of costs as well as improving processes and helping drive efficiencies in the reporting and tracking of costs.Prepare and develop annual cost budgets and forecasts.Perform scenario and what if analysis to help assess financial impacts of different business scenarios.What are we looking for from you?Fully-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant experience in a finance role. Part-qualified would be considered for exceptional candidates.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and insights as well as problem solve where required.High level of work organisation, self-motivation, drive for performance and improvement, and flexibility in approach and attitude.High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and pursuit for absolute accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Proactive individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and modelling skills.Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Commercial acumen and a strong understanding of business operations and drivers.If you are a driven finance professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, we invite you to join our team and be a part of our exciting journey at LAD.At LADbible Group we've rolled out blended working which means the majority of departments across the business (including London, Manchester and International offices) work in the office 3 days per week.LADbible Group is an equal opportunities employer.
