Finance Business Partner - Inside IR35

Duration: Until 31/03/2025 (possible extension)

Contracting Authority: National Crime Agency (NCA)

Location: Hybrid working (3 days per week in Belfast, Bristol, Birmingham or Warrington office and remaining 2 days WFH)

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.

Candidates must also be eligible for further further NCA vetting and DV clearance.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner would be:

Management of budgets and forecasts by providing accurate financial projections, report and plans.
Providing supplier Performance feedback /driving improved supplier performance.
Managing spend approvals and the transactional team
Management of a small team and the spend approvals and purchase order management transactional processes.
Conducting financial analysis to identify cost savings/reporting into Efficiencies Board
Providing Budget Approvals and Business Planning support to IT Performance Leadership team.
Change/Transition - managing transition assurance process/ assess budget impacts.
Managing internal performance reporting in collaboration with Finance Business Partner.
Managing and monitor financial risks, adherence to internal controls and compliance with Financial Regulations and Policies.

You'll have:

Experience and proven track record of success in financial management of large, complex budgets in a fast paced environment.
Excellent budget management experience
The ability to explain technical terms to non-technical stakeholders
The ability to analyse complex financial data.
Experience of engagement with and reporting to senior stakeholders.

It would be great if you also had:

Experience of managing a team across more than one location.
Advanced/Proficient in Excel
