Principal Researcher - Legal Finance & AccountingJoin one of the UK's top international law firms in their well-established Commercial Finance team. This newly created role will involve working closely with Partners to provide insightful financial analysis that drives strategic business decisions.Key Responsibilities:Develop strong relationships with key business leaders to influence and drive financial performance.Provide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses for senior management.Collaborate with different departments to ensure financial best practices are implemented.Support the implementation of new business initiatives and projects from a financial perspective.Requirements:Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Proficient in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you know someone who would be great at this role, why not take advantage of our referral scheme?
