We are looking for Finance Business Partner to join our growing Financial Services client, based in Tunbridge Wells, on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.Reporting into the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you’ll use your adaptive approach and analytical mindset to successfully position yourself as trusted adviser at the center of business teams, adding critical value required to drive informed business decisions.Our client empowers people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, at their office location in Tunbridge Wells in Kent. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT Assigned to a business unit, business project or subsidiary this role sits at the heart of business partnering across both operational and senior management levels, supporting the delivery of business objectives. Build strong partnerships working alongside senior stakeholders and their teams to drive optimal business decisions. Provide business analysis and deliver insight with a clear relationship to the delivery of business goals and long-term strategy. Collation and presentation of financial targets and actual performance to key business stakeholders, influencing change where needed. Critically assess and support emerging business initiatives spanning key financial, commercial, and operational business parameters, ensuring alignment to business strategy. Accountable for delivering post implementation initiative tracking, reporting actual performance against business case targets spanning both financial and non-financial KPIs, developing and using MI to influence corrective action across the business where needed. Work closely with the planning and analysis team to ensure that corporate, statutory and performance monitoring requirements are met. JOB DESCRIPTION Ability to design and implement effective financial planning and assessment methodologies. Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify route causation. Solid relationship management skill set carrying a confident and professional approach to both verbal and written communication. Professional level presentation, negotiation and influencing skills. Strong working knowledge/understanding of accounting principles. Advanced level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Significant Insurance or regulatory environment experience preferable. Experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment with competing/changing demands.
