Finance Business Partner
Location: Hybrid with regular travel to our client's service locations required
Hours: Full Time (36 hours per week)
Salary: £40,400 per annum
Contract: 1 year FTC
Are you a newly qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your finance career?
Our client is looking for a Finance Business Partner on a 1-year FTC basis, who will work closely with the Head of Finance and Resources, Service Managers and one other Finance Business Partner to provide support during a period of organisational transformation.
This role would suit a newly qualified accountant and will focus on our client's care services. Building strong relationships will be key to success in this position.
Regular travel to our client's service locations will be required.

Responsibilities of the role
Producing monthly Services management accounts with full commentary.
Holding management accounts meetings within Service budget holders, presenting the “story” the numbers tell, giving them advice and answering questions.
Building financial knowledge within Services of their budget responsibility, capacity, growth, and development of the service area.
Ensuring that information is received from the Service Managers and management accounts are available in advance of pre-booked meetings.
Support Service Managers to develop draft annual budgets in line with organisational aims.
Lead on Service Manager budgets, growth targets, and variance analysis.
Work with business development in planning and providing analysis when required.
Assist the Head of Finance and Resources with year end and audit.
Check the monthly payroll and work with the payroll lead to complete payroll reconciliations.
Any other ad hoc duties as required.

Essential
Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA or equivalent; newly qualified.
Attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work to strict deadlines.
Able to communicate technical solutions without the use of excessive technical jargon.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and cooperatively with team members and the ability to take direction as well as work independently.

Desirable
Prior experience of Xero accounting.
Social care sector experience.
